FAQ
Is coaching right for me?
If you are going through difficult moments with your child—tantrums, defiance, feeling that you are losing your calm despite your best intentions—then yes, this coaching is for you. You do not need to be in a serious crisis. If you feel the need to better understand what is happening and to respond differently, that is already enough to get started.
What is the difference between coaching and psychotherapy?
Parental coaching is not psychotherapy and does not replace it. Therapy explores personal history, the past, and psychological disorders in depth. Parental coaching starts from where you are today: we look at what is happening in your day-to-day life with your child, identify what is challenging for you, and build tools together that fit your reality. If I feel that therapeutic support would be more appropriate for your situation, I will tell you honestly and can refer you to a trusted professional.
Does my child take part in the sessions?
No. Sessions are held with you only, the parent. This is your space, your time. The approach is based on a simple principle: when the parent changes, the dynamic with the child changes too. Your child does not need to be present for things to improve.
How does it start?
With a free, no-obligation 30-minute discovery call. It is an opportunity to introduce ourselves, share what you are going through, ask your questions, and see together whether my support can help you. If it is not the right time or the right format for you, I will tell you.
How long does the support last?
It depends on your situation and your needs. The 4-session Pack is ideal for exploring a specific situation or trying the approach. The Anchoring & Connection Programme (12 weeks) is designed for deeper work and lasting change. We will discuss it together during the discovery call.
Are sessions in person or by video call?
Both are possible. In-person sessions take place in Geneva and on La Côte. Video-call sessions are just as effective and offer more flexibility; many parents prefer this option.
Is what I share kept confidential?
Yes, absolutely. Everything you share during our sessions remains strictly confidential.
What if I do not have much time?
Sessions last around 60 minutes, at a pace that fits your schedule. It is not intensity that matters, but consistency. Even one session every two weeks can lead to significant changes.
